Snowdon Railway Closed, Mountain in Winter Conditions
The Snowdon Mountain Railway runs from spring to autumn, and to the summit only from about May in good weather. In winter Yr Wyddfa's paths are often under snow and ice: walk to the summit only with an ice axe, crampons and the experience to use them, or keep to the valleys, castles and waterfalls.
