Coffee Farms and Waterfalls Under Kilimanjaro
2 daysIdeal stay₹3,330From / night₹1,140Food / day₹2,850Entry
A tidy, easy-going town at the foot of Kilimanjaro, the base for most climbs (see Mount Kilimanjaro) and good for a couple of days without one: Chagga coffee farms and the Materuni waterfall on the mountain's lower slopes, the turquoise Kikuletwa (Chemka) hot springs, and on clear mornings the snow-capped summit right above town. Moshi has an Indian community with vegetarian restaurants and temples. Clearest views of the peak at dawn and dusk.

- Chagga coffee tour: pick, roast and grind
