Heads up
Monsoon Showers
November to January are the wettest months: heavy thundery showers most afternoons, sometimes all day during a monsoon surge in December or January. Mornings are often clear. Plan outdoor sights early, keep an umbrella, and hold indoor options (malls, museums, the Gardens by the Bay domes) for the afternoon.

Christmas on Orchard Road
Orchard Road's Christmas light-up runs from mid-November to the new year, with the malls decorated, and Gardens by the Bay holds a Christmas market. It is also Singapore's school holiday, so Sentosa and the Mandai parks are busy and hotels fill.
