Bihar's only tiger reserve and one of India's least visited, making wildlife sightings surprisingly good. On the Nepal border along the Gandaki River, it protects Bengal tigers, gharial crocodiles, Gangetic dolphins, and 300+ bird species. Sage Valmiki reportedly composed the Ramayana here.
