• Ferry, Fast ferry Hurghada–Sharm El Sheikh (check it is sailing): About 2-2.5 hours across the Gulf of Suez, three times a week in past timetables (US$40 one way for tourists). The service has stopped and restarted several times and no 2026 sailings could be confirmed: check with the operator in Hurghada or Sharm before planning round it. Rough seas cancel it.
