- Train, Watania sleeper train, Cairo–Luxor (overnight): Watania Sleeping Trains: a 2-berth cabin with a basin, dinner and breakfast. Foreigners pay in US dollars (about US$90 a person sharing, US$130 alone); book a few days ahead through Watania or at the Giza or Ramses station office. Saves a night's hotel.
